T5 e-Paper

It's my first experience with an e-paper display.
Some information is missing — for example, how to use the included 3M double-sided adhesive tape. (I attached the display to the board myself, and only afterward found a wrong connection on the display. Removing the 3M tape was a real pain.)

Wake-up from sleep via touch is missing. I was forced to solder a different connection.
Also, the epd_driver library has some missing features — rotated text or 8-bit partial refresh is limited for creative layouts.

The battery connector is too tight in the socket; it cannot be easily unplugged. I broke the first one because there is no simple way to remove it.
Maybe mine is unusual, but the straight line at the bottom is slightly curved.

The USB-C to USB-C cable doesn’t work.
The buttons for the bootloader are not recognized by the ESP as regular buttons, so there is only one button available for waking up from sleep and for programming.
Also, reset from Arduino doesn’t work.

The product is of good quality overall, and it’s a nice starting point for getting into e-ink at this price.

The screen is very difficult, no example work. Now it doesnt work anymore, seems USBc port is disconnected.

If the device is used always-on, rather than being placed into deep sleep after a few seconds, the device overheats and stops responding. This makes the touch screen pretty useless unless you can find a way of waking the device from sleep whenever someone wants to use it.
