Verry good product cheap delivery to india
The Liligo T-Embed CC1101 is a device with solid potential, especially when paired with Bruce’s custom firmware, which significantly enhances its capabilities for RF experimentation, automation, and security testing. With the right software, the device can perform quite well and becomes a flexible tool for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
However, its biggest drawback is the physical design. Both the hard reset button and the power on/off button are located inside the device’s enclosure, meaning you need to open the device every time it crashes or needs a reboot.
For a device designed for experimentation—where crashes and freezes are expected—this becomes a major usability issue. These buttons should be accessible externally, without requiring disassembly.
✔️ Pros
Bruce’s firmware dramatically improves the experience
Good RF performance from the CC1101 chip
Reasonable price for what it offers
❌ Cons
Reset and power buttons are not accessible without opening the case
Frequent disassembly disrupts workflow, especially in testing environments
Physical design feels unfinished for a device meant for tinkering
🎯 Conclusion
The Liligo T-Embed CC1101 has strong potential with the right firmware, but the flawed physical design holds it back. A score of 3/5 reflects its reality: good hardware and features, but poor usability that needs improvement.
Perfect
Most of my T-Embed works fine except for the IR. I tried to raise the issue with support however I was ignored, they told me the IR was in a different place then it was. However I showed them the whole device, where the IR is and where they thought it was, but nothing, I just got ghosted.
Great device with huge potential. My advice would be an on off switch that is directly connected to the battery would help as with frequent crashes it could be reset easily but otherwise perfect
