With shell are soldered versions
T-Display-S3 is a development board whose main control chip is ESP32-S3. It is equipped with a 1.9-inch LCD color screen and two programmable buttons. Communication using the I8080 interface Retains the same layout design as T-Display. You can directly use ESP32S3 for USB communication or programming.
The shell is only available for the soldered and non-soldered versions , not for the touch version, and the S3 with shell are soldered versions.
Note:
- Please use USB2.0 (USB A-USB C) cable.
- Compatible With ST7789.

The T-Display series has added a new member.

It comes with the latest ESP32-S3 [Wi-Fi 802.11, BLE 5 + BT mesh].

The screen has also been expanded from the original 1.14 inches to 1.9 inches, and an acrylic plate has been added to fix it.

This will be the second LILYGO model Display with an acrylic plate fixed.

T Displays were exactly wha to ordered.
Excellent price/performance and a potential preferred dev-board for a wide range of projects. There is however a big BUT - direct code upload from current versions of VS-Code / PlatformIO is NOT supported (manual reset to upload mode is required). This makes it unsuitable as a dev-board (build/upload cycles are slow, serial debugging is severely complicated).
Too many updates required for a beginner to navigate. I bricked the unit trying to get it to work.
